TripLink manages ride requests on behalf of COAST, Ready Rides, Rockingham Nutrition & Meals on Wheels, Community Rides, and the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County.
COAST is a nonprofit regional transit agency. It operates fixed-route transit service in Dover, Farmington, Newington, Portsmouth, Rochester, Berwick, and Kittery. In addition to its fixed-route service, COAST also provides ADA Paratransit services to complement those bus routes. It runs an advance-request service in Exeter and Newmarket called Route 7 On Demand, and operates Portsmouth Senior Transportation under contract with the City of Portsmouth.
COAST is also the lead agency and fiscal sponsor for the Alliance for Community Transportation.
Ready Rides is an independent, nonprofit volunteer driver program that serves older adults and adults with disabilities who reside in Barrington, Durham, Lee, Madbury, Newfields, Newmarket, Northwood, Nottingham, and Strafford. Ready Rides offer non-emergency medical transportation, provided by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles. Drivers are vetted and trained. Ready Rides contracts with COAST and RNMOW to provide rides for those individuals who require an accessible vehicle.
Rockingham Nutrition & Meals on Wheels
Rockingham Nutrition & Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit agency providing meals and beneficial support services to older adults who need assistance preserving their long-term health, well-being, and independence. RNMOW also operates senior shuttles in coordination with its meal sites in Epping, Exeter, Hampton, Plaistow, and Seabrook.
Community Rides is a coordinated transportation option that serves as “provider of last resort” for non-emergency medical transportation within the ACT region. Community Rides is managed by ACT, but rides are provided by COAST or RNMOW, as their availability allows. This service is meant to help people who don’t qualify for other services in the region.
Community Action Partnership of Strafford County
Strafford CAP is a nonprofit agency that educates, advocates, and assists people in Strafford County to help meet their basic needs and promote self-sufficiency. CAP provides a senior shopper shuttle that runs Tuesday – Friday and serves many communities in Strafford County.
